Gallo (6’5″ 200 lbs. Bishop Gorman High School, Henderson, NV), playing for the West team, takes batting practice prior to the 2011 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
Also, Gallo hits a 442 foot home run off a 93 mph fastball from Brookwood High School (Lawrenceville, GA) RHP Lucas Sims (6’2″ 195 lbs.). To date, the home run was the 10th longest in the history of Petco Park.
For his efforts, Gallo would go on to be named MVP in the West’s 6-2 victory over the East.
Gallo is committed to Louisiana State.
