KEiiNO is going to represent Norway in the Eurovision Song contest 2019 with their song “Spirits in the Sky”. The trio won the Norwegian Selection Show Melodi Grand Prix with a fairly large margin from the televoters and will try their best to qualify from the Semi-Finals and potentially even more. The song is inspired by the struggles for equal rights regardless of ethnicity, gender identity, and sexuality, given their long struggle in pursuit of equal rights. How does the ESC United “Expert” Panel feel about it?

  1. It's simply a good pop/edm song. and yes i also hear the comparison to Aqua, and that is a compliment. It's got everything it needs!

  2. 7.87?! That is really high.
As you said, this is exclusively a Eurovision song. If this was ten years ago…I'd see it doing well. In 2019 and how juries vote now…I can see it being a shock non-qualifier.
I like this but I don't think it's one of the best songs of the year.

  3. Spirit in the Sky has been in my top five since its release and it's probably not going to leave unless something terrible happens in Tel Aviv.
    9/10

  4. It's an average pop song. Neither hateful nor lovable. It's the type of song that makes part of ESC, as usual. Nothing particularly special (apart from the girl's voice) and saying it is a winner is a bit too much, don't you agree?
Choose something different for the winner.

    9. United Kingdom 6.03
    10. Poland 5.63
    11. France 5.38
    12. Georgia 4.89
    13. Croatia: 4.53

  6. I wanted to give 6 points but with your scores you made me give 1 point. I understand that the hard core Eurovision community wants Eurovision to not loose its old style and that's why you rated also San Marino very high. My apologies but i prefer Eurovision to become more and more a serious modern music contest.

  7. This song is so goooood it's a 9. It's my number 3 for this year but goooosh it's soooo goood. It's so Eurovision and I just love it.

  8. I give this song a 7 it’s very Eurovision the song is very catchy and I love the traditional elements of the song if they get the staging right it could end up top 10 great job this year Norway

  9. BEST SONG OF THE YEAR 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴
